CHAPTER - II

Ishika Sharma

Ishika Sharma's story is one woven from threads of sorrow, resilience, and quiet beauty. Growing up in the shadows of an orphanage, she learned early on that life was a complex tapestry—one marked by loss yet interlaced with moments of warmth and hope.

From a young age, Ishika called the bustling corridors of the Shanti Orphanage her home. Nestled on the outskirts of a vibrant city, the orphanage was a haven for children who, like her, had faced the world's harsh realities too soon. The air was filled with the laughter of children, yet there was an undercurrent of sorrow that tinged the atmosphere. Ishika often found solace in the small garden behind the building, where she would sit beneath the sprawling banyan tree, dreaming of a family that felt just out of reach.

The orphanage was run by kind-hearted souls who poured their love into the children, but the reality was that resources were limited. Ishita learned to navigate the challenges of her environment with grace. She was often seen helping younger children, her gentle nature shining through as she comforted them during moments of distress. Her compassion was a balm for others, even as she grappled with her own feelings of abandonment.

Her beauty, striking yet understated, was not merely in her physical appearance but radiated from her very being. Large, expressive eyes reflected a depth of emotion that belied her years, and her smile, warm and genuine, had a way of brightening even the darkest of days. Ishita's presence was a blend of ethereal grace and quiet strength, qualities that endeared her to both the caregivers and the other children.

But in deep Ishika is a broken soul , who never got the love she wanted , she always wanted a big loving family , ishita is someone who never reply back , no matter what one says about her she listens to it quietly . she remembers when her parents died how her relatives throwed the 4 year child saying she is unlucky and unwanted , no one accepted her . she cries remembering her parents .

 Flashbacks of Her Parents

Amid the challenges of her daily life, Ishika often found herself lost in memories of her parents. She had only a few fleeting moments to hold onto—fragments of laughter, the scent of her mother's perfume, the sound of her father's voice telling stories that painted her world with vivid colors. These memories were a source of comfort, yet they also served as painful reminders of the love she had lost.

Ishika was just four years old when she lost her parents and her relatives snatched the house and throwed her out saying she doesn't deserve it , she deserves to die like her parents .

she often gets tears when she sees other mothers loving their children , she craves for the love .

Ishika never had a friend as no one wanted to be with her , even in the school the teachern used to make her sit alone in corner and would giver her disgust looks and beat her also punish her for no reason , she also told the other students not to talk to her as she doesn't have parents .

she was always a bright student so she completed her studies from scholarships .
